To all the people out there that have downloaded and tried out my url re-direction program there is a new update that I recommend everyone download.

The software allows me to quickly create new links like http://www.halotis.com/go/rss that quickly re-direct to any website and count the number of clicks on that link.  With proper logging I’m able to calculate the click through rates on my various links.  It’s possible to have many different links that re-direct to the same page so you can test how link text or link position affect the click through rates.

Previously there was no security to the software and someone could easily have added their own links or reset your link counter.  The addition of a log in page was much needed.

I’ve added version checking so that you’ll be notified if an update has been released.  You can download the newest version without leaving the dashboard.

The software has been a big success and lots of people have already checked it out!
