Driven by a passion for improvement and exploration, Colum co-founded HalOtis with Matthew Warren in the spring of 2005.

Colum Furey is a native of St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. An alumnus of Memorial University of Newfoundland, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Pure Mathematics with a focus in Linear algebra and Geometries. Currently, Colum is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at Dalhousie University, one of Canada’s leading universities.

Along with his intoxicating enthusiasm and refusal to accept “no” as an answer, Colum brings a unique blend of skill and knowledge to Halotis. Colum’s areas of expertise include Materials Science, Mechanics, Fluid Dynamics, Mathematical Modeling, Thermodynamics and Design.

Where does all of this lead? It is the realization of a dream.
